The city of Teramo is the capital city of the Province of Teramo with a population of 53,343 inhabitants.
It stands at an elevation of 265 metres above sea level and lies around 60 kilometres north east of l'Aquila, the regional capital of Abruzzo. The centre of Teramo is its main square, Piazza Martiri della Libertà which is also the location of its main sight: the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta. |
