Pacentro
Named among I Borghi Più Belli d'Italia (the most beautiful villages of Italy), Pacentro sits at the edge of the Majella National Park. The pretty village occupies the area between the mountains and the plain around the town of Sulmona in an area rich with things to see.
In Pacentro you'll find narrow, winding passageways full of intrigue while there are also wonderful views of the snow-topped mountains that loom over the village as you approach it by road. Combined with a visit to Majella beyond, this should form at least part of any Abruzzo itinerary. |
